Denver’s Commons Park has a new piece of public art for visitors to enjoy, thanks to a local group of senior citizens and elementary school students.
“This Land Over Time” features an arching wooden framework covered in painted panels depicting many of the epochs that Commons Park and the Platte River have experienced over time. The project was developed during a Think 360 Arts Creative Aging program for the residents of the senior living community Balfour at Riverfront Park.
