More apartments are going up in Denver than ever. But many of them now come with less of an amenity once considered vital — parking.
“We designed our buildings to encourage tenants to use public transit, bike and walk,” said Erik Hagevik, a senior development partner at Holland Residential in Denver.
Holland Residential is building Platform at Union Station, a 287-unit project touching the nexus of rail, light rail and bus lines. It will provide only 263 parking spaces, which works out to a ratio of 0.92.Read Full Article
