Brookline, MA

Balfour Brookline will restore residential use to this 3.87-acre site which was formerly a portion of Newbury College.

Balfour Brookline will reflect the rich architectural traditions that can be found in the surrounding residential neighborhood.

Landscape amenities will include stone walls, bioswales, a contemplative garden, native plantings, and preservation of existing mature trees along the streets. Landscaping will be designed to mitigate storm water on site and reduce water usage from irrigation.

The project will focus on sustainability with a goal of a LEED Gold rating, employing both Passive House and WELL strategies.

The project design is led by Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA), a distinguished architecture firm based in New York City and Finegold Alexander Architects, a highly regarded Boston architecture firm serving as executive architect.

You will love calling this place home.

Live Well. Live Balfour.
