Balfour Senior Living’s staff is acting cautiously. It is important to know that we follow the advice of state and local health officials regarding any quarantines, closures, or other health measures needed. Our focus is on ensuring the safety of residents and staff and continuing Balfour’s quality service and care.
We are also continuing our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols. Our clinical leadership teams are monitoring for signs & symptoms and responding appropriately per guidance from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). Nonessential personnel is restricted from all Balfour locations and everyone entering our communities, including associates, is required to participate in a screening process.
People at risk of COVID-19 will be tested in partnership with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and we will notify you if the risk increases. We continue to require that all essential medical visitors work exclusively for Balfour during this pandemic and that they do not work concurrently for another health care or senior living facility.
