Balfour at Cherrywood Village specializes in the care of those diagnosed with a form of dementia including Alzheimer’s Disease, Vascular Dementia, Lewy Body’s and Frontotemporal Dementia to name a few. We focus on the individual’s strengths, current abilities and keeping them independent as long as possible. Nothing takes a higher priority in a Balfour Memory Care community than treating every resident with the deference, dignity, and attention they deserve.
Our programming is specific to those individuals and their families that are traveling the dementia journey. We are focused on exercising all parts of the brain through various activities to keep each individual as vibrant as possible. Our activities include massage, aromatherapy, word puzzles, crafts, music as well as reminiscing. Each interaction we have is intentional so that we can focus on ensuring their best quality of life.
Our goal is not to create a perfect day. Instead, we create a variety of perfect moments for our residents throughout each day. Perfect moments will leave a smile on their face and joy in their environment. Cherrywood Village provides an environment of hospitality complimented by the care we provide, our residents are our VIP’s each day. The culinary team works in alliance with the clinical team to ensure nutritious meals and snacks are provided. We customize resident meals to accommodate their health and well being.
